Bo Niehaus built the Polizei Stressi app as a Commercial app. This SERVICE is provided by Bo Niehaus and is intended for use as is.

This page is used to inform visitors regarding my policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use my Service.

If you choose to use my Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Personal Information that I collect is used for providing and improving the Service. I will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions, which are accessible at Polizei Stressi unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy.

Information Collection and Use

The app works without an account and without a login. Most data stays on your device. Some features do require data to be stored on my servers - those are listed individually below, and each one only starts collecting once you switch that feature on or use it.

What I Store on My Servers

My backend runs on Supabase (data processor under Art. 28 GDPR). None of the data below is linked to your identity; there is no user account it could be tied to.

• Push notifications for assemblies and updates: if you enable alerts, I store your device token, your alert keywords and your notification preferences, so the right notification can be delivered to your device.
• Helicopter alerts: in addition to the above, your approximate location and the radius you chose, so I can tell whether a helicopter is near you.
• Feedback form: if you send feedback from inside the app, I store your message together with the app version, operating system version, device model and language setting - and your e-mail address only if you choose to enter one. This is used solely to process your feedback and to reply if you asked for an answer.
• Personal calendar feed: if you subscribe to the calendar feed, I store which events you bookmarked and an opaque token that makes your feed URL work.

Crash and Error Reporting

I use Sentry (Functional Software Inc., hosted in the EU) to collect anonymous crash and error reports so I can fix bugs and keep the app stable. Sentry receives technical context such as the app version, operating system version, device model, locale and a stack trace when an error occurs. Sentry's default collection of personal data is disabled, so no IP address or user identifier is transmitted. Legal basis: legitimate interest in operating a stable, secure app (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Soli Subscription (In-App Purchase)

The app offers an optional subscription ("Soli-Stressi-Abo"). The purchase itself is processed by Apple; I never receive payment details. To manage subscription entitlements I use RevenueCat (RevenueCat Inc., San Francisco, USA) as a data processor. This involves an anonymously generated user ID, the subscription's purchase history and basic device information (app version, platform, language setting). No name, email address or Apple ID is transmitted to me or to RevenueCat; the anonymous ID cannot be linked to your identity. Transfers to the USA are safeguarded by EU standard contractual clauses (Art. 46 GDPR). Legal basis: performance of the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Data is deleted once no longer required for subscription management.

No Advertising or Behavioural Tracking

The app uses no advertising IDs, no cross-app tracking and no third-party analytics for behavioural profiling.

Log Data

I want to inform you that whenever you use my Service, in a case of an error in the app I collect data and information (through third-party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing my Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.

Cookies

Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. These are sent to your browser from the websites that you visit and are stored on your device's internal memory.

This Service does not use these “cookies” explicitly. However, the app may use third-party code and libraries that use “cookies” to collect information and improve their services. You have the option to either accept or refuse these cookies and know when a cookie is being sent to your device. If you choose to refuse our cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of this Service.

Service Providers

I may employ third-party companies and individuals due to the following reasons:

• To facilitate our Service;
• To provide the Service on our behalf;
• To perform Service-related services; or
• To assist us in analyzing how our Service is used.

I want to inform users of this Service that these third parties have access to their Personal Information. The reason is to perform the tasks assigned to them on our behalf. However, they are obligated not to disclose or use the information for any other purpose.

I value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and I cannot guarantee its absolute security.
